Brendan Rodgers has left Leicester City by mutual consent following defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Rodgers departs after four years in charge, with the club 18th in the Premier League table.
A club statement on Sunday afternoon said that Rodgers’ “place in Leicester City history was assured,” but that the board had been “compelled to take action to protect our Premier League status”.
