Notre Dame landed a commitment from three-star defensive lineman Cole Mullins on Saturday as the Irish warmed up for the Blue-Gold Game, a weekend Marcus Freeman needed to be a recruiting boost for the Irish. Here’s what you need to know:

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound athlete from Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Ga., is the 10th commitment in Notre Dame’s 2024 recruiting class.

He’s the second commitment along the defensive line in a haul that ranks No. 7 nationally on 247 Sports.

Mullins is also the second defensive lineman commitment in less than 24 hours, following 2025 prospect Davion Dixon of Miami, who committed Friday during a weekend visit for the spring game. Dixon is the first pledge in Notre Dame’s ’25 class.
