Alonzo Ford, a transfer defensive tackle from Old Dominion, committed to Penn State on Wednesday night. He announced the move via social media.
Ford, who stands at 6-foot-3, 272 pounds, is a nice addition for the Nittany Lions, who were looking for defensive tackle depth out of the portal.
Ford announced over the weekend that he would leave the Monarchs, coached by former Penn State offensive coordinator Rahne, and enter the portal.
