Before the Panthers watched Bryce Young participate in several drills at his pro day, they sat down with him for dinner. 

Panthers general manager Scott Fitterer didn't shy away from sharing his true thoughts about Young. It's safe to say he was thoroughly impressed by the former Heisman Trophy winner's character and preparation. 

“He held court,” Fitterer said, via Panthers reporter Augusta Stone. “He was so well-spoken, so well thought-out. When he talked about his preparation, when he talked about how he studies, how he sees the game, he’s at a different level. He’s already at that NFL level, which is great to see.
